Right bin. Right frequency.
Commercial bin sizes and costs
Commercial waste is priced per lift, not per kilo. That single fact decides most of what you pay — a bin emptied half full costs the same as one emptied full.
| Bin | Holds | Approx. size (H×W×D) | Wheels |
|---|---|---|---|
| 240L | around 3 to 4 standard refuse sacks | 1080 × 580 × 740 mm | 2 |
| 360L | around 5 standard refuse sacks | 1100 × 620 × 880 mm | 2 |
| 660L | around 8 to 10 standard refuse sacks | 1200 × 1370 × 780 mm | 4 |
| 1100L | around 14 to 16 standard refuse sacks | 1470 × 1370 × 1070 mm | 4 |
Dimensions are approximate and vary slightly between manufacturers. Collection typically costs £5–£30 per bin per lift depending on size, frequency and waste type — see commercial waste collection costs.
